Amaranthus Hot Biscuits  with glorious fluffy spikes of seed heads, great for drying and bouquets and floral installations.  It will last without a water source for weeks before losing colour and turning brown. 

 

When to Sow: Feb- Mar

HOW TO SOW AMARANTHUS:
Sow indoors - Sow into moist well drained compost and cover with a 1mm sprinkle of soil. Ideal temp. 22°C. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into individual pots.

Sow Direct - Sow only when danger of frost has passed. into a prepared seed bed. Thin seedlings and re transplant if necessary.
