A superb F1  hybrid with high yields and large bulbs which store well from autumn. Both  good resistance to disease and to bolting. Great for boiling and mashing.

 

When to Sow: Feb - Apr

HOW TO SOW CELERIAC:
Sow indoors  - In pots or moudules of moist well drained compost and cover with a sprinkle of soil . Ideal Temp 15 -20°C. Transplant when large enough to handle and grow on until plants are robust enough to withstand pests and harden off before planting out to final positions 30cm appart with the swollen part of the root above the surface of the soil. Do not plant out until all danger of frost has  passed.

  • Site: Full Sun/ Partial Sun Soil Type: Will grow in most soils
  • Soil Acidity: Alkaline/Neutral

  • Care:  Cut off side shoots leaving one central stem and keep well watered.
  • Use: Edible Harvest: In late November lift any remaining roots and store in damp sand in a cool dry place for winter use.
