HOW TO SOW CELOSIA : Celosia do not like root disturbance so surface sow into pots or cell trays of miost compost and just cover with a sprinkle of soil. Place into a propagator or zip lock bag and onto a heated mat. Ideal temp 20-25°C. Transplant on when large enough to handle and plant out only when all danger of frost has passed. For larger, more dramatic heads Space plants 30 cm apart to allow for full bloom development. For smaller, more manageable stems for bouquets plant closer at 15–20 cm (6–8 inches) apart to encourage longer stems and more uniform growth. If you're growing in high-density plantings, closer spacing will also encourage taller, more upright stems. - Classification: Half Hardy Annual
