Commonly known as red valerian, with clusters of start shaped flowers this plant has become naturalized in many parts of Europe. Great for attracting pollinators and a real cottage garden favourite.

When to Sow: Sep/Oct &- March -June

HOW TO SOW: 
Sow In pots   - Sow onto pots of moist compost  and just cover with a sprinkle of soil. Ideal temp 18-20°C. Transplant to individual pots when large enough to handle.  Aclimatise and plant out when risk of frost has passed.
Sow Direct from Apr- Jun - Sow in drills or scatter the seeds and rake over gently. Keep well watered.
