An heirloom variety originating from Hungary. Sturdy plants with mildly hot jalapeno shaped fruits which turn black when ripe. Leaves are purple veigned with pretty purple flowers.

When to Sow: Feb - Apr

 

HOW TO SOW:

Sow in pots - Sow thinly into pots or modules of damp compost. Cover with 0.5cm of soil. Ideal temp 21°C. Will benefit from the use of a heater propagator. Once germinated grow on in cooler conditions 15-18°C. Grow on until all risk of frost has passed.

Can be planted out or grown in pots. Best grown in a greehouse, conservatory or sheltered sunny spot.
