When to Sow : Sep - May

 

HOW TO SOW:

Needs Cold statificaton.

Spring Sowing - seeds should be placed in the fridge for two weeks prior to sowing, then surface sow onto moist compost, just covering with a little vermiculite. Place in a propagator with lid or into a poly bag to keep evenly moist. Ideal temp 15-18°C. Bottom heat will speed up germination.

Autumn Sowing - Sow as above and leave underglass to cold stratify naturally. In spring once the weather warms germination should occur.

 

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to individual pots.
