With the most gorgeous balls of spikey( yet soft) blooms  which are a perfect dried flower and add great height to the garden border.
 
When to Sow: Aug - Nov & Feb - May

HOW TO SOW ECHINOPS: 
Sow thinly onto trays or pots of moist compost and cover with a sprinke of soil. Ideal temp 20°C.  Transplant when large enough to handle and grow on, planting out when all risk of frost has passed.
