Native to Australia this  evergreen plant can be grown into a large tree or for cutting can be pollarded to give young fresh growth which has a perfect shape & size for florists. Older growth may not be usable.

 

When to Sow: Feb- May & Sep - Nov

 

HOW TO SOW:
Seeds need a period of cold stratification to germinate so best sowed in Autumn and left outside for nature to do its thing,  or if sowing in spring place seeds into fridge for 4-6 wks before sowing.


Sow Indoors - Sow into only just moist compost in individual cells/ pots to make potting on easier as they don't like root disturbance. Ideal temp 21°C.
