A popular main crop variety with strong growth and very winter hardy. High in potassium and folic acid and a good source of Vitamins A and C.

 

When to Sow: Jan - Apr

 

HOW TO SOWLEEKS:
Sow Indoors - onto pots or cells of most compost. Cover with 1cm of soil. Idea temp 10-15°C.
Sow Direct - into a preapared seed bed 1cm deep. 
Seedlings should be transplated into final position when around 20cm tall  by making  rows of  deep 15cm  holes 20cm appart with a cane or stick. Trim the roots off each seedling with scissors and pop each seedling into a seperate hole. Do not backfill with  soil, just water in well.
