Quite simply one of the most exquisite flowers you can grow for spring and summer blooms. A gorgeous colour combo which is a must for florists and gardeners alike with the most delicate crushed  papar like petals which unfurl like ballet.

When to Sow: Sep - May

HOW TO SOW:
Sow Indoors: Sow thinly onto moist well-drained compost in cell trays ( Just a few seeds into each)  as they do not like root disturbance, cover with a little vermiculite to anchor the seeds a little. Bottom water only.   Thin resultings seedlings down to just 1 or 2 per cell. Autumn Sowings can be  overwintered in the greenhouse/coldframe and planted out in springtime. Spring sowings should be planted out after risk of frost has passed.

Sow Outdoors: Can be sowed direct where they are to flower however will need protection from heavy rain and othere elements as seeds are so small and seedlings very delicate.
