A very vigarous and spreading plant  with delicious oriental fruit inside a delightful papery husk,  also makes an unusual jam. Star shaped flowers,  followed by green cyclos which turn a purple colour when the fruits are ripe.

When to Sow: Feb - Apr

HOW TO SOW:
In pots or trays onto moist compost just covering with a little soil. Ideal temp of 18-21°C. Transplant into individual pots when large enough to handle.  Plant out after all risk of frost has passed. Can also be grown in large pots on a sunny patio.
