With serrated leaves and a strong peppery flavour this is a great addition to salads and is rich in antioxidants.

 

When to Sow: Feb - Sep

 

HOW TO SOW ROCKET :
Directly - Sow thinly into  a prepared seed bed and cover with 0.5cm of soil. Keep moist. Thin to 20cm spacing  when large enough to handle.
In Pots - sow into moist compost and cover with 0.5cm of soil. Can be transplanted if required or gown in a container.
Succession sow for a longer harvest period. Sow every 7 days for micro harvests.

  • Harvest: When young and fresh for milder taste, leaves become  hotter and more peppery with age. Cut a few leaves from each plant with scissors, leaving some to re grow. Will produce 3-4 harvests. Cover with cloches over winter to keep harvesting.
